چکیده

Effect of PGPR (Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria) Application on Growth and Yield Local Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Varieties in Jatiluwih Village. The decline local rice production Village needs to be overcome meet the community, one method that can used is application PGPR. This study aims determine differences effect cultivation with without growth yield varieties find out which shows highest yields. a paired experiment compared four varieties, namely Cicih, Cendana, Ketan Mansur varieties. results analysis showed was able increase average value plant height, number leaves per clump, leaf chlorophyll content, total tillers productive panicle length, grain panicle, good yield, respectively 1.66%, 16.89%, 5.97%, 18.79%, 15.65%, 11.54%, 25.65%, 30.55% 10.53% when application. between red variety increased by 19.27% ??from previous 5.45 ton/ha 6.50 ton/ha, while Cendana only 5.76%, Kentan 11.33%, 5.57% after applied.

Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): a review

Soil microbial communities are often difficult to characterize, mainly because of their immense phenotypic and genotypic diversity. In the last ten years, a number of PGPR that have been identified has seen a great boost, mainly because the role of the rhizosphere as an ecological unit has gained importance in the functioning of the biosphere and also because mechanisms of action of PGPR have b...

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR): emergence in agriculture.

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are the rhizosphere bacteria that can enhance plant growth by a wide variety of mechanisms like phosphate solubilization, siderophore production, biological nitrogen fixation, rhizosphere engineering, production of 1-Aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase (ACC), quorum sensing (QS) signal interference and inhibition of biofilm formation, phytohormo...

The Effect of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on Germination, Seedling Growth and Yield of Maize

The effect of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on seed germination, seedling growth and yield of field grown maize were evaluated in three experiments. In these experiments six bacterial strains include P.putida strain R-168, P.fluorescens strain R-93, P.fluorescens DSM 50090, P.putida DSM291, A.lipoferum DSM 1691, A.brasilense DSM 1690 were used. Results of first study showed seed I...

Biological control of Heterodera glycines by spore-forming plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on soybean

Heterodera glycines, the soybean cyst nematode, is the most economically important plant-parasitic nematode on soybean production in the U.S. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the potential of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) strains for mortality of H. glycines J2 in vitro and for reducing nematode population density on soybean in greenhouse, microplot, and field trials....

1 Ecology , Genetic Diversity and Screening Strategies of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria ( PGPR )

TheGerman agronomist Hiltner first defined the rhizosphere, in 1904, as the ‘effect’ of the roots of legumes on the surrounding soil, in terms of higher microbial activity because of the organic matter released by the roots. Until the end of the twentieth century, this ‘effect’ was not considered to be an ecosystem. It is interesting to make some brief observations about the size, in terms of e...
